I have been a Star Trek fan for a long time. I knew of the original series and watched the original cast films, but it wasn't until one wednesday night that I started to become a trekkie. I watched an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation and was hooked. My favourite series of Star Trek is Deep Space Nine. I love the characters, I understand the bajorans and Cardassians, and I just love Captain Sisko, Dax and Miles O'Brien. Worf had always been my favourite character from TNG, so when he joined DS9, all was perfect. There were great story archs and a deeper and darker feeling than in other trek shows.
I am not too happy about the re-imaged alternate universe trek with its cookiecutter cast. Except for Bones/Karl Urban. I guess Bones would be Bones in any universe... However, I am quite willing to let other people enjoy the watered down version. I have the dvd's of my favourite series so why should I complain?
The dolls you see in this showcase are inspired by Star Trek. The first on the left is Five, then Uhura, Beverly Crusher and Five again (this time his RP character) and Daenerys (my rp character).
