"Would you say Blink is a fantasy character?" "Well, she is fantastical, so you could say that." Blink is a comic book character from the Exiles series. Five asked me to make her when I asked him for inspiration for a Microhero doll. Microheroes are a little bit different from dolls. Where dolls try to be unique and diverse, it seems that microheroes are more rigidly made to conform to a cartoony style. On the other hand, the community is much more free with the use of existing templates and re-using bits from other microheroes. In dolling terms that would be 'frankendolling' and is much frowned upon.

This is fully pixeled. None of the mutt shading stuff was used in this. I am very happy with the face, and love the lips. I am not sure why it suddenly worked so well. But it did. This microhero took me about 3 hours to complete, which is the longest I have been working on a doll for in a long time. I have lots of WIP's though. But finding time to finisgh things is tricky these days. I have started a new 3 year course and am studying about 2 hours a day now! But expect more stuff, even if I go at a slower pace these days.
