Manor Rules

Please understand that every pixel you see on this site was made by me and the basemaker I credit. All dolls are handdrawn by me, and not the result of dragging bits and pieces of a dollmaker around. Nor are these dolls made with just a click in a simple program. Each doll, and the bases, were the result of hard work. Fun, but hard work.

As you can understand now, that means that there are a few rules to the use of my dolls by anyone else.

• 1. You may not say you made any of these dolls. Because that would be lying and lying is bad.
• 2. You may not copy the dolls or parts of it and use it on your own dolls or your own site. Because that too would be lying and lying is bad. On top of lying it would be stealing, and stealing is bad.
• 3. You may not use my dolls or parts of my dolls on any other site, or in any graphic you make. This includes signatures, blinkies, avatars and/or graphics upload sites. I just don't want you to do that. In fact, that too would be lying and stealing. Which is bad.
• 4. You may not take or use my dolls to make actual money or fake (forum) money. Seems kind of obvious that if anyone is selling my work, it will be me.
• 5. There can always be exceptions! Dolls that are allowed to be adopted or used in graphics will have their own special terms of use stated on their pages.

For resource dolls, the rules are slightly different, but on no work of mine can you make any sort of money, and that includes showing it on commercial websites. For resource dolls I ask that you link back to The Manor Dollhouse on the same page as where you show the dolls.

In case of the dolls you make in my dollmakers, you may use them in your layouts or signatures or avatars or blinkies, but only if you link back to The Manor Dollhouse on the same page as where you show the dolls.

You may use the tutorials to make your own version of the tutorial doll. I do not need a link back, because the doll will be your own work. I do advice you to try and use a different base than I used in the tutorial.

You may not copy and use the articles I write for The Manor Magazine for your own site. If the article appeared elsewhere, I will state so at the end of the article, with a link.
