Base is Cecilia by me
Second week of Madadim is over and I finished 7 dolls from 7 decades. These dolls are also available as resource dolls on this site. Go to Resource and adoptables to find them. Read the rules on how to use them.
I was inspired by different decades by these dolls. The doll on the left is wearing a 1920's dress. This was quite radical, because all of a sudden the hemline went up and the sleeves were gone. The 1930's were a bit more conservative compared to that, with longer dresses. The silhouet was still very straight and narrow though. The 1940s saw a celebration of curves and colour. Skirts were a little shorter again and with the wide skirts emphasis was laid on the waist and hips. The 1950s were a bit more glamotous, while at the same time society was stifling. The 1960s dress in yellow was inspired by Jackie Kennedy. Vibrant colours and clean lines were in. The 1970s were a bit more flowery and airy, as the wraparound dress shows. And the 1980s... well, I still don't know where our fashion sense went that decade. But it was fun.
